Miromar Lakes 2009 Sales Ended on High Note

MIROMAR LAKES, FL. - If home sales are any indication, the 2009 sales activity at Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club surely proves that the market is alive and in a buying mode. Sales for 2009 at the award-winning waterfront community totaled 103 homes with a value of over $60,000,000. Says Jerry Schmoyer, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Miromar Development Corporation: "Over the past few months our sales associates have been in the envious position of advising their customers, ‘sorry, but that home you were interested in buying last week was sold."
The number of customers coming to the Miromar Lakes Sales Center has significantly increased compared to last year. "We are receiving website inquiries, calls and people flying in from all over the country, as well as international visitors, who feel very confident about buying now," states Schmoyer. "We are also seeing a shorter time frame between the time a customer first walks in our door to when they make a decision to buy."
Approximately 75% of the sales have been co-brokered. Miromar Lakes has aggressively pursued a relationship with real estate offices throughout Collier and Lee counties and has offered a variety of programs that encourage Realtors to visit the community with their customers. One program, the Commodore Club, extends sales rewards to Realtors that include waterfront dining privileges at its private Miromar Lakes Beach Club and access to its Arthur Hills Golf Course and award-winning Golf Clubhouse. Round-trip limousine service is also provided for Realtors and their clients from their office to the Miromar Lakes Sales Center.
