Distinctive Communities and Michelangelo Homes Named as Builders in Costa Amalfi at Miromar Lakes

MIROMAR LAKES, FL. - Distinctive Communities, Inc. and Michelangelo Homes have been announced as the builders in Costa Amalfi, the newest neighborhood at Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club. Costa Amalfi offers unique single-family "Beach Cottage." Only sixteen home sites are available in this new neighborhood that features frontage along a wide stretch of private white sandy beach. Southwest views sweep across 250-acre Lake Como, which adjoins 450-acre Lake Maggiore.
Distinctive Communities has introduced two floor plans for Costa Amalfi. The Antichi is a one-story plan that encompasses 1,897 air-conditioned square feet and includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a study and a two-car garage. The Mulini is a two-story plan encompassing 2,557 air-conditioned square feet with three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a study, loft, entry courtyard and two-car garage.
Both homes are enhanced with his and hers walk-in closets in the master suite and a privacy garden off the master bath. Standard quality exterior features include concrete tile roofs, a paver driveway and lanai with a step down to the beach, and impact resistant windows and doors. An optional oversized spa/water feature and outdoor summer kitchen with grill and refrigeration are available.
On the list of indoor features are volume ceilings, eight-foot solid wood doors, 5¼" baseboards and 3 ¼" Victorian casing around the doors. Crown molding is also included in several areas.
Kitchens include granite countertops with a choice of edge, custom raised-panel cabinetry, a Moen sink and faucet, and KitchenAid appliances. Costa Amalfi homes by Distinctive Communities will be built to FPL Gold Level Buildsmart certified energy efficient standards.
Distinctive Communities is under the leadership of David Sturdyvin, who has over 20 years of experience building luxury homes and villas in Southwest Florida and Steve Fiterman, who launched a national company in the housing industry and founded a land development company in Minnesota.
